The new normal made many sales organizations realize the need to advance the drive for operational excellence. Those who still embrace the “standard best sales practice” are slowly finding themselves less relevant to most customers.
In our Sales Summit this August 15, 2023, we would like to emphasize the need for sales organizations to seek Sales Process Excellence (SPEX) through advance data analytics practices, better insighting, and delivery of sales solutions through data storytelling.
In essence, the entire day’s summit will discuss the following 3Ds:
1. Data Analytics. Progressive companies are reaping enormous benefits in using advanced data analytics (strategies and tools) such as improved process visibility, ability to personalize and enhance customer experience, reduced costs, and higher ROI. The increased visibility of right data informs sales leaders how else they can advance the drive for operational excellence. Advance analytics allow sales organizations to progress from mere descriptive and diagnostic analysis (hindsight) to prescriptive and predictive levels (providing more insight and foresight).
2. Discovery. Unlike in the recent past, sales data today is widely available. This means that the source of competitive advantage is not anymore from the size of a company’s database, but rather from their ability to analyze it effectively. How good are we at analyzing and understanding our customers’ unmet needs and wants?
3. Delivery. In this more complex environment we call the new normal, how might sales people effectively engage with customers? The traditional selling and negotiating techniques have lost their appeal. Using insights from data and right visualization tools, how might sales people design a narrative that is memorable, persuasive, and engaging for customers? Are salespeople today ready to employ storytelling?
